ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOTICE OF HEARING
Please take notice that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Walden will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 18th, 2026 at 6:30pm or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard to consider the appeal of Luke of Walden LLC for a use variance for property located at 8 Oak Street, identified on the tax map as Section 306, Block 16, Lot 21 and located within the B-3 (Central Business) Zoning District. Said hearing will take place at the Village Hall, 1 Municipal Square, Walden, NY 12586.
A use variance is sought by the applicant to vary Chapter 305 Zoning – Business, Mixed Use and Industrial Districts – Table of Use Regulations to permit four (4) dwelling units over the first floor of nonresidential use where only one (1) dwelling unit is permitted.
The Village of Walden will make every effort to ensure that the Public Hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or accommodations should contact the Village Clerk.
The above application is open to inspection at the Village of Walden Building Department, 33 Scofield Street, Walden, NY 12586
