NOTICE OF HEARING
INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW
AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC LAW
E–BIKE AND E-SCOOTER REGULATION
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that there has been introduced before the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Walden, New York, on November 3, 2025, a local law titled “Regulations of E-Bikes and E-Scooters”.
A complete copy of the Introductory Local Law is available for inspection at the office of the Village Clerk, Village Hall, 1 Municipal Square, Walden, New York,
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, the Village Board of Trustees for the Village of Walden, New York, will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law which will regulate the time, place and manner for operating E-Bikes and Electric Scooters within the Village on December 2, 2025, at 6:30 P.M. or soon thereafter, at the Village Hall, 1 Municipal Square, Walden, New York, 12586 at which time all persons interested therein shall be heard.
The Village of Walden will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk.
